About Us
I draw from a rich background of modern and traditional techniques, with a focus on those which care for the organs of your belly—organs you depend on for happy digestion, reproduction, and our vital life force.
Rachelle Paquin, LMP
Rachelle works with sensitivity and care. She is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Professional Mayan Abdominal Massage Practitioner, and a Teacher’s Assistant at Seattle‘s Ashmead Massage School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and spent over four years in social services, helping both children and adults.
Rachelle says, “During this time working with children in foster care and group homes, I was profoundly impacted by the effect of and need for safe touch for kids from abusive backgrounds. I was amazed at how quickly an aggressive child melted from a simple hug. The power of touch in healing both physical and emotional wounds drew me back to school to apply my mental health background to bodywork.” Rachelle applies this sensitivity and compassion in all her sessions.
After becoming licensed, Rachelle has pursued advanced trainings in Abdominal Massage with Love Your Guts Seminars through Marty Ryan, Mayan Abdominal Massage with Dr. Rosita Arvigo, Lymphatic Drainage Techniques with Diane Kinkaide, and currently studies the Daucik Method.
Rachelle is a whiz at relieving pain from injuries and stress in the body, and creating digestive and reproductive health through abdominal massage.
